Robert W. Young founded RWY & Associates Inc. in response to the need for client centered Electrical Engineering and design work.  Mr. Young has 40 years of experience in Power Lighting and Generator/Emergency Power and UPS design.  He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas. Prior to founding Robert W. Young & Associates, Inc., Mr. Young was Chief Electrical Engineer for CRSS in Houston.  His experience covers virtually every aspect of Electrical Engineering.  A partial list of notable projects includes: HL&P's Energy Control & Data Center, Research and Development Centers for Chrysler Corporation, 3M, and Bell Northern Laboratories; Hydrocarbon Processing Facilities for Aramco; and Facilities Assessments and modernizations at Cummins Engine Plant, Motorola, Crown Zellarbach, as well as a broad variety of power and lighting assessments and modernization projects for Centerpoint Energy, OMK Tube, Bull Moose Tube and hundreds of water plants, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, stormwater pump stations and generators (both diesel and natural gas) for hundreds of different facilities.

We have extensive experience in low-voltage power distribution systems, and fully understand the impact of "dirty power" on modern digital equipment.  Our background in electrical design includes expansion of numerous data centers in the Houston area as well as hundreds of water, wastewater and generator projects. We maintain a continuing relationship at Centerpoint Energy, as well as many other architectural and engineering firms in the greater Houston area.
